Day 6 – The TOMS

*Congrats to Derrick N. (Bill Simmons book winner) and Dally H. (Domino book winner)*

It seems that this time of year lots of bloggers are doing year-end lists and thanking their readers for visiting and talking about what a great 365 days it’s been in the blogosphere.

Well, it’s only been about 180 days for us, but we do feel like we have the best readers on the internet.

Your comments are thoughtful, your notes are kind, and your encouragement is paramount to whatever we’ve done on this space that could be called successful.

We hope you’ve seen our thankfulness in the 5 giveaways before this, but just in case, we’re bumping it up a notch for the last one.

We’re giving away a pair of TOMS.

I’m so jealous of Blake Mycoskie for creating this company it’s unbelievable. I don’t actually own any TOMS (because I look like this in them), but Jen has two pair and we’re both huge fans of the company, their products, and what they stand for.

Just put your shoe size in the comments and whoever wins can have the color of their choice in classics for the girls or for the boys.

This giveaway ends at 11:59 CST on Wednesday.

Don’t be afraid to comment if you haven’t yet. Could be your lucky day…

I'm an aspiring freelance writer and blogger (which doesn't make a ton of sense when you think about it). I started a blog called Our Marriage Project and one about OSU called Pistols Firing. I love both of them, and I love my wife. And I love Kevin Durant, Explosions in the Sky, Tim Riggins, Blue Moon ale, Twitter, and the state of Georgia.

  1. WOW guys thank you sooooo much for the prize. I love your blog and I love you!!! (Well Jen, but I'm sure I'd love Kyle if I ever met him πŸ™‚

TOMS are amazing. I wear them to teach in almost every day. Right now I have the Love is the New Black pair. One problem is they are really narrow, so some people can't wear them. You should host a Toms decorating blog party for your Dallas blog buddies. You buy a bunch of pairs to decorate and donate. πŸ™‚

  2. Womens 8.5
Can I just say, that y’all are such beautiful souls, as far as I can see from blog and twitter. Thank you for adding a little awesomeness to the world πŸ™‚

  3. Women’s 8.5 in red. Or I’ll take a date with Blake Mycoskie. Either would be perfect under my Christmas tree!

    Merry, merry!

  4. You guys are such inspiring, lovely people. I'm home for Christmas break and I'll confess I've spent the past week cozying up with some coffee and reading 4-5 posts every morning… I just walk away feeling happier and gaining a new perspective of love each time, so a very big thanks to you both. Have you done a post over your favorite artists/bands? because i'd love to hear them if you have! Merry Christmas to you both ♥

And just for kicks and gigs, I wear a size 8.

  5. GAH!!! Best giveaway EVER!!!! You guys rock! I love reading your blog everyday and as a couple you are so encouraging to others who want to live to glorify God in relationships and in life.

I'm pretty sure I'm a size 81/2. I was going to put these on my Christmas list, but ended up not. Kyle we've never met, but I feel like you would appreciate why I didn't end up putting Toms on my Christmas list: My parents Christmas present to me and my boyfriend is going to the National Championship game! I'm not quite sure how you became an Oregon fan when living in Oklahoma, but the fact that you are a Ducks fan just makes this blog even better. Anyway, hope you both have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy your first Christmas together!!

  6. Size 10….I literally don't think I've ever won anything in my life. Maybe today's my lucky day! Probably not, but this is a great idea!

  7. Oh. My. Goodness. Just stumbled upon your blog from Daily's facebook post and I've loved everything I've read so far!! You have such a cool blog. Anyway, size 8 for me please. Love the ash color. PS – Love the Bozo picture. Haha.

  8. Size 8.5. In an attempt to manipulate this contest (is that possible?) it should be known that I mysteriously broke my toe this past weekend…and the convenience and comfort of TOMS is EXACTLY what my doctor ordered. Honest. I hope you both have a wonderful Christmas!!!

  9. Size 9! I am an avid fan and reader of your blog! I've actually printed off a few of your posts so that I can read them again when I'm away from the computer!

  10. size 7! My hubs thinks he looks like a clown in them as well. I begged him to buy a pair once (it's for the children, the children!), then I realized he would be throwing the money out the door since he would never wear them , so I buy and wear… WE LOVE TOMS!

  11. Size 7.5 πŸ™‚
I love reading your blog each day! I feel like drew and i relate so well on most posts… I like crafts and know nothing about sports… He loves sports and tries to understand why I feel the need to make random things… Oh and of course the whole first year of marriage thing πŸ™‚

  12. Well 'tis the season to be jolly, and I don't know a jollier couple than myself and my lovely wife. My wife is in desperate need of a new pair of shoes to go with the brand new baby boy we just had yesterday. See, I am kind of in need of some presents for her and new TOMS would be a great stocking stuffer. It would also be quite the surprise, kind of like the set of testicles we discovered under the towel right after he was delivered. Our kind doctor told us that 24 hour old Beckett was going to be a girl at the 20 week mark. What a Christmas surprise he was. So, help me surprise my wife with size 6.5 TOMS and let's see what gets the bigger response, new TOMS or a new set of testicles. Merry Christmas!

  13. Amazing post dude, I really took pleasure in this blog post. I’ll be sure to spread this to a few online buddies who would, most likely, enjoy to read over this blog too. Found this blog post through the Yahoo search engine by the way, just figured I’d let you know. Can’t wait till the next one!
